North and West Remote Health (NWRH) is currently looking for a Part-Time Yard Maintenance Persons to join their team in Mount Isa, QLD.

This is a highly varied role, which will see you performing a range of general maintenance tasks for NWRH clients throughout the community, including:

  • Clearing driveways and removing rubbish or leaves from grounds;
  • Mowing lawns, trimming hedges and cultivating gardens

NWRH is looking for someone personable and friendly, with a flexible approach. 

You'll be happy speaking with a diverse range of clients, including older people, people with disabilities, and their carers. Experience working with the elderly or people with disabilities will be highly regarded but isn't essential.

Handy with a range of basic tools, you'll be dedicated to performing all tasks according to relevant work health and safety guidelines and legislation.

You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be confident using a range of basic computer software, including Microsoft Office Outlook.

  • You will need a current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence;
  • Indigenous Australians are strongly encouraged to apply.
