Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people as a Clinical Receptionist at headspace Mackay.
You’ll join a collaborative headspace team focused on creating a welcoming, youth-friendly and accessible service for young people and their families. Reporting to the Senior Clinical Admin, you’ll be an important first point of contact for people accessing the centre, providing professional reception and administrative support to help the team deliver high-quality care.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term opportunity, with the possibility of extension, working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. While the role is primarily based at the headspace Mackay centre, some flexibility to travel and work outside standard hours, including mornings and evenings, may be required from time to time.

- $66,047 – $72,554 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus superannuation;

About the role
- Welcome young people, families and visitors with professional, friendly service.
- Manage reception, phones, bookings and appointment confirmations.
- Provide confidential information and support to young people and families.
- Maintain accurate records, supplies, mail and general administration.
- Support meetings, events, financial administration and centre operations.
Skills and experience
- Bring experience in administration or reception in a similar setting.
- Demonstrate strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Deliver professional and confidential customer service.
- Organise competing tasks and meet agreed deadlines.
- Hold a current C class driver's licence.
