If you have all or most of the below, this role could be for you:
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
- A passion for rural and remote health and making a difference in the community
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
Whilst not a prerequisite, previous experience in the following is highly regarded:
- Experience working within community health, disability, NDIS, aged care or paediatrics
- Experience delivering services across varied caseloads
- Knowledge of assistive technology, home modifications and functional assessments
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
Your Role
As part of a supportive allied health team, you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to clients across a diverse caseload.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Delivering OT services to children, adults and older persons
- Conducting functional, cognitive, developmental and environmental assessments
- Supporting participation in daily living, school, work and community activities
- Recommending adaptive equipment, home modifications and intervention strategies
- Providing education and support to families, carers and stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Contributing to community health and early intervention initiatives
