North and West Remote Health (NWRH) are currently seeking an NDIS Administrator to join our team in Mount Isa or Longreach on a full-time basis.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent administrative support to both internal staff and external support coordinators, participants and nominees.

Bringing great enthusiasm and energy, you will be self-motivated with great initiative and a passion for people, as well as data and Excel. You will always be on the lookout for new ways to improve NWRH’s NDIS services.

If you have all or most of the below, this role could be for you:

  • good time management skills;
  • experience in customer service;
  • a high attention to detail;
  • ability to prioritise competing tasks;
  • strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • process driven
  • excellent computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Excel and Outlook;
  • demonstrated ability to self-motivate; and 
  • the ability to work both autonomously and in collaboration with others

 

Whilst not a prerequisite, previous experience in the following is highly regarded:

  •  the NDIS and/or disability sector or a related health sector
  • a similar administrative position

 

What can you expect to be doing?

Your office-based role is less face-to-face, and more administrative, communicating with internal staff and external stakeholders either electronically or via the phone. You will be providing participant focused, efficient, accurate and reliable administrative support to teams delivering NDIS services, along with participants and stakeholders engaging with NWRH services. Your day-to-day may include:

  • Liaising with support coordinators, participants and nominees to ascertain support needs and provide quotes for services;
  • Timely and accurate preparation of NDIS Service Agreements and variations;
  • Tracking status of NDIS service enquiries, quotes, and completed service agreements;
  • Maintaining and updating NDIS related resources, such as the NDIS Welcome Pack;
  • Collating data for internal reporting purposes; and
  • Implementing NDIS quality improvement activities
