Join our supportive multidisciplinary allied health team delivering high-quality care across Townsville and surrounding communities. You’ll work with a diverse caseload across musculoskeletal, neurological, chronic health, and community settings, helping clients improve mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.

 

We’re flexible on what this role looks like for the right candidate, with full-time, part-time, permanent, or fixed-term options available. Based in Townsville, this role includes monthly outreach travel to Mount Isa, Dajarra and surrounding communities, providing the opportunity to support clients across regional Queensland. Travel may involve driving or small plane flights, with travel completed during work hours where possible. A work vehicle is provided, and any required after-hours travel is supported through time in lieu.

 

Based in Townsville, this role includes monthly outreach travel to Mount Isa, Dajarra, and surrounding communities. All travel, accommodation, and meals are covered by NWRH. A work vehicle is provided, and at times small plane flights will be required. Travel is completed during work hours wherever possible, with time in lieu provided when after-hours travel is required.


Benefits

  • Salary from $82,858 to $105,893 + super (Pro-rata for part-time) based on experience
  • Salary sacrificing options up to $15,900 to help maximise your take home pay;

About the role

  • Deliver physiotherapy services across Townsville and outreach communities
  • Assess musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional needs to support client goals
  • Deliver tailored physiotherapy programs to improve mobility, strength, and independence
  • Provide education and self-management strategies for clients and carers
  • Collaborate with allied health teams and community partners to deliver holistic care
  • Contribute to health initiatives that improve outcomes across Townsville and surrounding communities

Skills & experience

  • AHPRA Physiotherapy registration or eligibility to obtain
  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current unrestricted ‘C’ class Australian Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong clinical skills and passion for community healthcare
