North and West Remote Health (NWRH) is one of Australia’s leading regional and community-based mental health service providers. We are currently seeking a motivated and adaptable Journey Coordinator to join our MyndKind Program, based in Townsville.

About the Role
Journey Coordinators play a vital role within the MyndKind Program, working as an independent partner in an individual’s care journey. The role may operate as a standalone service, within a Front Door service, or alongside other MyndKind Program offerings.
Your primary focus will be to deliver high-quality, person-centred support that improves outcomes for the participants by:
- Supporting individuals to navigate the mental health system with confidence
- Providing psycho-social education and self-management support
- Facilitating access to digital mental health services and group programs
- Ensuring quality, continuity, and coordination of care across service providers
About You
We are looking for dedicated, culturally sensitive professionals who can work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
You will bring:

- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to build respectful, trusting relationships with individuals, teams, and community stakeholders
- Experience working collaboratively to enhance consumer outcomes and service systems
- A sound understanding of mental health challenges and their impact on individuals
- A recovery-focused, person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach
- The ability to establish and maintain genuine relationships with people accessing MyndKind Program.
Essential Qualification:
- Qualification and experience related to Mental Health or Community Services
