North & West Remote Health (NWRH) is seeking a reliable and proactive Support Services Officer to provide high-quality administrative, facilities, and travel support to our Townsville office. This is a part-time position (3 days per week), perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives on keeping things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

  • Travel Coordination – booking flights, cars, and accommodation in line with company policy, managing suppliers, keeping accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and policy requirements.
  • Fleet Management – managing vehicle bookings and scheduling, coordinating servicing, repairs, and equipment checks.
  • Property & Facilities Support – coordinating leases, repairs, contractors, office equipment, and safety matters across the workplace.
  • Office & Reception Support – welcoming clients, managing room bookings, ordering supplies, and supporting team meetings and events.
  • Clinician Support – assisting with scheduling, correspondence, supplies, and troubleshooting travel or accommodation issues.
  • Administrative & IT Support – scanning/uploading documents, preparing correspondence, printing, and basic IT troubleshooting.

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in administration, reception, or office coordination.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and confident with systems/data entry.
  • Current driver’s licence, Police Check (or eligibility to obtain), QLD Blue Card and  NDIS Worker Screening (or eligibility to obtain), and working rights in Australia.

(Experience with travel logistics, property/fleet management, or facilities coordination will be highly regarded.)
