NWRH is on the lookout for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Longreach. Full-time, part-time, and fixed-term options are available — perfect whether you’re a new graduate or an experienced clinician.

As part of our supportive, multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver high-quality OT services without the barriers of private practice funding. That means more time for long-term treatment, prevention strategies, and real impact in the community.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver a variety of OT services across diverse client groups
  • Support inclusion in community, school, leisure, and work activities
  • Assess and enhance emotional, cognitive, physical and developmental abilities
  • Recommend environmental adaptations to maximise performance
  • Provide education and advice to families, carers, and communities
  • Contribute to early childhood supports and community health programs

What We’re Looking For

  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Passion for making a difference in rural healthcare
